Treticon Forte cream .025%

Treticon Forte cream .025% contains the active ingredient Tretinoin, which got FDA approval as a topical application for treating acne vulgaris. Acne is a condition in which the skin has whiteheads, blackheads, and other pimples. To attain the best results, it is necessary to use it properly. Stick to the treatment regimen provided by your dermatologist. When used properly, most patients may see improvement within twelve weeks of regular usage. 

 How to use

As Tretinoin works deeply, it takes time to work. You can’t make it work faster by applying the product more than once daily, and excessive usage may irritate your skin. So be patient. Squeeze half an inch or less of the product on your fingertip and apply evenly over your affected area. While that should be enough for the entire affected area after you gain some experience with the topical formulation, you may need more or less to do the job. The cream should become visible almost immediately. If you can still see the product, you are using too much. Apply a moisturizer with sunscreen to protect your skin from excessive dryness and sun damage caused by Tretinoin. Do not use Tretinoin cream with other topical formulations, which your health care specialist does not recommend. The topical medications you used in the past might increase the chances of unnecessary redness or peeling. While receiving tretinoin therapy, use a mild, non-medicated soap. Frequent washing and harsh scrubbing may irritate your skin.

 Precautions

Do not use Treticon Forte cream if any of the following applies to you:

• You have sunburn. Avoid using tretinoin formulation until your skin has fully covered.
• You have eczema or skin disorders, and the product can cause severe irritation when applied to eczema patches.
• You are allergic to Tretinoin or any of the other ingredients in the medicine.

Avoid sun exposure during the treatment. Treticon may make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Overexposure to the sun for many years may cause premature aging of the skin and may even cause skin cancer. However, the chances of these effects will vary depending on skin type, the climate, and the measures taken to avoid overexposure to the sun. To avoid sun damage caused by Tretinoin, minimize unprotected exposure to the sun. If you are pregnant or are nursing an infant, consult your healthcare provider before using the product. 

Side effects

The skin of certain sensitive skin people may become excessively dry, red, swollen, blistered, or crusted. If you get severe or persistent irritation, discontinue Treticon Forte cream and consult your dermatologist.
