Tretinoin .1 gel , the active component of A-Ret  0.1% gel is a solution that is applied directly to the skin to deal acne and other skin problems. It comes under the category of the assistance called retinoids. All remedy of this class are related to vitamin A, which is essential for normal development.

Tretinoin, a prescription retinoid plays an important role in keeping the acne at bay. It is available in multiple formats, including gel, gel microsphere, and cream. You can get A ret gel in the form of a gel for topical application. The gel is approved by the FDA to deal with acne and fine wrinkles. It is also beneficial in treating other skin problems.

A-ret gel .1% is manufactured by Akums Ltd. The exact mode of action of Tretinoin is not known. However, it appears to increase the rate of cell turnover, thereby, preventing the spread and formation of pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads. 

Do not use the gel if you:

•    Are allergic to any of the ingredients present in A retino gel-0.1

•    Are going out in the sun.

Always pre-inform your physician in the following conditions:

•    If you are hypersensitive towards the cream

•    If you are pregnant, or trying for a baby

•    If you are a breastfeeding mother

Usage of the A-Ret Gel:

Before you start applying Tretinoin gel, read the manufacturer's printed information leaflet from inside your pack. The leaflet will give you more information about the usage of the product and a complete list of the adverse effects which you may experience from using it.

Method to apply A-Ret Gel:

Firstly, wash the affected area with water and pat dry. Then, apply a thin layer of the gel onto the affected area. It should be used once daily, preferably at bedtime. Gently massage it into the affected area. Wash your hands well afterward. Your physician will be the right person to tell you how often to use Tretinoin gel. This is usually applied once daily, preferably at bedtime. The directions will also be printed on the label of the pack to remind you. If you forget to apply tretinoin gel, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for the next application, skip the missed on. Remember, never take a double the application time to compensate the missed one.

A-Ret Gel .1% side effects:

To minimize the risk of irritation, it is advisable to begin the application on a small area of the skin. Exposure to ultraviolet rays will add up to this irritation.  During the course with A-ret gel, sun exposure should be avoided or if it is important to go out then a sun block should be used. Use an effective sunscreen and wear protective clothing to protect yourself from harmful ultraviolet rays. If any ingredient of the formulation causes hypersensitivity, discontinue use and contact your physician.

A-Ret Gel .1% interaction:

Several topical property interfere with the effectiveness of A-ret gel. Ask your physician about all the gel. Avoid using astringents and alcohol containing products as these may interfere with A-retino gel. Use of abrasive soaps and cosmetics that have a strong drying effect should be used carefully because of the possible property interaction with the retinoid gel.
