Flawlizo Micro Gel 0.04%

Flawlizo Micro Gel 0.04% is a dermatologist-trusted topical retinoid treatment designed to help manage acne, improve skin texture, and support a clearer, brighter complexion. Formulated with Tretinoin 0.04% in a microsphere gel delivery system, this product slowly and evenly delivers the active ingredient into the skin. The microsphere technology encapsulates the active ingredient, allowing for a gentle, sustained release throughout the day. Tretinoin is a vitamin A derivative widely used in skincare for its proven benefits in reducing acne, regulating skin cell turnover, and minimising the formation of blackheads and whiteheads. Reduction of clogged pores prevents future acne formation by regulating cell turnover. The anti-ageing properties help reduce dullness and enhance overall skin radiance. This advanced formulation provides improved tolerability compared to older retinoid creams and gels. The result is effective acne control with reduced irritation, making it suitable for individuals who require a mid-strength retinoid for long-term skin maintenance and blemish management.

How to use Flawlizo Micro gel 0.04%?

Cleanse the skin and wait for it to dry completely before application. Flawlizo 0.04% gel microsphere gel should be applied once daily, preferably in the evening, to areas where acne lesions appear. It is recommended to use enough to cover the entire affected area lightly. Use a pea-sized amount for the entire face. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nostrils, and broken skin. Always apply a non-comedogenic moisturizer after using the gel. In the daytime, use a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, as Tretinoin increases sun sensitivity. Applying more of this gel preparation will not provide incremental effectiveness. A feeling of warmth or slight stinging may be reported in some patients on application. Consistency is key; visible results may take several weeks, depending on skin type and adherence to the routine. Those using Tretinoin microsphere gel may use cosmetics, but the areas to be treated should be cleansed thoroughly before the medication is applied.

What precautions to be taken?

Flawlizo gel 0.04% is contraindicated in individuals with a history of sensitivity reactions to any of its components. While using Flawlizo micro gel, the skin of certain individuals may become excessively red, dry, swollen, or blistered. Based on the degree of irritation, patients should be advised of a temporary reduction in the amount or frequency of medication.   Effectiveness at reduced application frequencies has not been established. If an adverse reaction indicating sensitivity occurs, use of this tretinoin formulation should be discontinued. Excessive skin dryness may also be experienced by some people using the retinoid formulation; if this is the case, consider using an appropriate emollient during the day, which can be beneficial. Unprotected sun exposure, including sunlamps, should be reduced when using Flawlizo gel 0.04%. Patients with sunburn should be instructed not to use this medication until they have fully recovered due to increased sensitivity to sunlight. Those who can’t skip exposure to sunlight due to their occupation should exercise caution. It is important to use sunscreen products and protective clothing over treated areas, especially when sun exposure can’t be avoided. Weather extremes, such as wind or cold, may also be irritating to some patients using tretinoin. The microsphere formulation should be kept away from the eyes, the corners of the nose and the mucous membranes. The retinoid formulation has been reported to cause severe irritation on eczematous skin and should be used cautiously in patients with this condition. Concomitant topical medication medicated or abrasive soaps, products with strong drying effects, and products with high concentrations of alcohol, astringents, or spices should be used cautiously because of possible interactions with tretinoin. Avoid coming in contact with the peel of limes. Caution should be exercised when using concomitant topical over-the-counter anti-acne formulations containing benzoyl peroxide, resorcinol, sulfur, or salicylic acid. Avoid using with harsh exfoliants or irritating skincare ingredients unless advised. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless approved by a healthcare professional. It is not recommended for individuals with eczema, severe skin dryness, or sunburn.

In some people, these side effects may occur in the first one or two weeks of treatment. These unwanted effects can easily be minimised by carefully following the dermatologist’s instructions.
